‘Bandh’ called by Traders to protest against denigration of Deities on ‘Facebook’

Traders call spontaneous ‘Bandh’ to protest against objectionable writing posted on ‘Facebook’ about Deities

Phalatan (Maharashtra) : Traders from Sakharwadi observed total ‘Bandh’ protesting against objectionable writing posted on ‘Facebook’ regarding Deities. They have demanded to immediately arrest the accused. (Congratulations to Hindus from Sakharwadi for uniting against denigration of Deities ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Few young Hindus learnt about objectionable matter posted on the ‘Facebook’ account (wall) of Akshay Salve from Sakharwadi, Taluka Phalatan, about Hindu Deities resulting in creating tension in Sakharwadi. Efforts were made to find a solution; but to no avail; therefore, young members of various ‘Tarun Mandals’ from Sakharwadi met on Thursday evening and made an appeal to observe ‘Bandh’. The traders’ organization took a serious note of the incident and decided to keep the market closed on Friday. Accordingly, the market was closed for whole day on Friday. Dy. Superintendant of Police (DSP), Satish Jadhav, Police Inspector (PI), Amrut Deshmukh and their team kept strict vigilance to maintain law and order. Discussions were held with main leaders from the area and office bearers of various ‘Mandals’; besides traders by DSP, Satish Jadhav and PI, Amrut Deshmukh wherein it was decided to observe ‘bandh’ in peaceful manner. The traders’ organization stated that they were spontaneously observing ‘bandh’.
