Filing of case for treason to be considered against the concerned, says School-Education Minister

Mumbai : In tenth standard Geography book with new curriculum, Hindustan’s map has been shown with Arunachal Pradesh as part of China. It is a very serious and shameful thing. It will be ascertained from the Law and Justice Department whether case of treason can be filed against the concerned. The above information was given by School Education Minister, Dr. Rajendra Darda on a ‘starred’ question asked during Assembly session.

More than 12 members had raised this ‘starred’ question and asked about action taken on the unpardonable mistake observed, on 15th May 2013, in the Geography text book for tenth standard. Shri. Eknath Khadase, the Opposition leader and Shri. Mungantiwar strongly demanded filing of case of treason. Education Minister Dr. Rajendra Darda said, ‘We have dissolved the Secondary Education Committee due to such grave mistake and two months’ salary of guilty officers has been frozen. The map was prepared by well-known experts; but while uploading it in computer, such serious mistake has occurred due to some technical reasons; still advice of Law and Justice Department is being sought on filing case of treason.’

History panel dissolved for changing India’s map !

May 25, 2013

Education Directorate’s delayed response !

Such panel should not be just dismissed. Names of members of panel will be obtained under RTI and the guilty will be stringently punished as per the laws prevailing in Hindu Rashtra !

Pune (Maharashtra) : Education Directorate has dissolved the panel of History that distorted India’s map in History text book of tenth standard (English medium) and Geography book. In the map printed in these text books, Arunachal Pradesh has been shown as part of China. In another map, islands of Andaman-Nicobar and Lakshadweep have been omitted. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has started agitation in Maharashtra and Karnataka against this issue.

Sarjerao Jadhav, Director- Education said in this context…..

1. Sticker of modified map and circular for mistakes in lettering will be stuck on the first page of text books for rectification of mistakes.

2. Three lakh books of English medium have been printed and one lakh books are still left with ‘Balbharati’.

3. Mistakes in text books given to schools or in market will also be rectified.

4. Students can submit the books to schools and get changes made. (Manpower, money and time will be wasted on large scale in rectifying the mistakes besides problems faced by students due to lack of proper management. Who is going to make good the losses? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

5. Independent machinery will be set up to check the matter so as to prevent repetition of such mistakes. (Why such machinery was not set up earlier or was the Board waiting for major mistakes to happen? Such Education Board lacking planning will not be there in Hindu Rashtra ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

6. Guidance will be sought from the State Government.

‘I will not rest; till criminal cases are not filed against the concerned members of Education Board!’ – Dr. Dnyanchnadra Patil, Grahak Panchayat

Such patriots are required everywhere !

Sangli (Maharashtra) : The agitation staged by HJS against the mistakes in History and Geography text books is commendable and proper. I will not stop at just submitting representation; but I will not rest till criminal cases are filed against the persons from Education Board, who are responsible for mistakes, stated Dr. Dnyanchandra Patil of Grahak Panchayat.

Shri. Ashokrao Telang of RSS also said that the agitation of HJS was right and he would write to the Government in this regard.

The cost incurred for supply of new books should not be loaded on public exchequer, but should be recovered from the concerned guilty individuals !

Issue of text book of geography for 10th standard in which Arunachal Pradesh was shown as a part of China !

Mumbai : Recently an incident of showing Arunachal Pradesh as a part of China in the text book of geography for 10th standard came to light. In this regard, Education Minister Rajendra Darda declared during an interview given to a news channel that the study group for geography would be suspended, and fresh books will again be supplied to 6,50,000 students. (It is necessary to punish the concerned individuals, who committed such a serious mistake, instead of merely being satisfied with suspensions of study group ! – Editor, Daily, ‘Sanatan Prabhat’) Similarly, the Chief Minister Pruthviraj Chavan also conceded that there are innumerable mistakes in this text book and assured to take necessary action against guilty individuals.

Minister Darda further said, “The island group of Andaman-Nicobar and Lakshadweep are also missing from the above text book. (How a serious is mistake committed in the first place, in the Bharatiya map ? This is just a sample of disorderly management in the field of education ! – Editor, Daily, ‘Sanatan Prabhat’) Sixteen lakh copies of the text book have been printed, out of which 6,50,000 copies have been sold. These books will be replaced, and fresh amended books will be made available. Similarly, a clarification in regard to the mistakes committed will shortly be issued in the monthly mouth piece of the Text Book Bureau ‘Shikshan Sankraman’. (We need the rulers who will ensure that mistakes will not be committed at all, instead of the rules who issue clarification after the committing the mistakes ! – Editor, Daily, ‘Sanatan Prabhat’)

Teaching system used for curriculum is faulty ! – Retired teacher Prof. Vidyadhar Amrute

In this regard, a retired teacher for geography Prof. Vidyadhar Amrute who worked in the Text Book Bureau for several years said, “Undertaking improvements in the text book of geography is not the only issue, but the entire teaching system used for that subject is faulty. The subject of geography for 10th standard will be taught in parts. It is entirely wrong to teach geography from the regional point of view.”

Pathetic clarification lacking responsibility by Board for Secondary Education says, “The mistakes have occurred due to small size of maps.” (Board for Secondary Education covering own misdeeds by issuing silly explanations ! – Editor, Daily, ‘Sanatan Prabhat’)

  • Maharashtra State Secondary Education Board (MSSEB) treads the same anti-national path of Congress rulers!

  • Inform names of persons responsible for this wrong to ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ ! Those responsible will be stringently punished in Hindu Nation as per the prevailing laws !

Mumbai : China has withdrawn her soldiers intruding Ladakh border; but in India’s map published by MSSEB in Geography text book for tenth standard, it has shown some part of Arunachal Pradesh in China. (Congress rulers exhibited its anti-nationalism by overlooking China’s intrusion in Indian Territory whereas MSSEB has shown that they are no less in exhibition of anti-nationalism by publishing some part of Arunachal Pradesh in China in India’s map in its text book. People should realize that first they have to destroy the anti-national mentality affecting this country which is possible only after ousting of Congress as it is the root cause of such rot. Save this country by destroying such rot through 2014 elections ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) MSSEB’s text book on Geography is now in market and if it is not modified immediately, students would be taught wrong Geography for the next ten years. (People should pressurize MSSEB and the Government to withdraw this text book ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Now MSSEB’s text books and innumerable mistakes go hand in hand ! – Vidyadhar Amrute, retired member, MSSEB.

People now know that MSSEB’s text books mean there are bound to be innumerable mistakes and this tradition has been maintained by MSSEB in this year’s Geography book. There are several mistakes in Geography book. This book presents a different geography for you. The above response was given by retired Geography-Professor Shri. Vidyadhar Amrute, who is also a former member of MSSEB.

Make a pulp of Geography book !

Geography is very important from the viewpoint of competitive examinations; therefore, pulp should be made out of the existing book and new book may be published. This was a demand made by Prof. Amrute. He also offered to extend necessary help if required. Prof. Amrute has warned to go to Court against MSSEB if remedial action is not taken.
