HJS participates in picture-float procession of Shiv Jayanti at Belgaum (Karnataka)

Belgaum (Karnataka) : Shiv Jayanti picture-float procession organised by the Public Shiv Jayanti festival committee received a very good response from lovers of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The palanquin of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was worshipped at the hands of MLA Sambhaji Patil, Superintendent of Police Sandip Patil and President of the committee Deepak Dalavi in Naragundkar Bhave Chowk at 6.15 p.m. on 14 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj were exhibited. Seventy picture-floats participated in this procession. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti also participated in the event.

In the picture-float of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, educational flex boards exhibiting the mode of an ideal procession, senselessness of democracy, necessity of Hindu Rashtra (Gathering of upright people striving for the welfare of the universe) etc. were on display. Information on how to defend self in the event of atrocity on women was imparted with the help of practical demonstrations. On this occasion, the dignitaries welcoming the picture-float of Samiti were presented by Samiti with the Holy text ‘Necessity of Hindu Rashtra’.

Highlights :

1. An exhibition of Holy texts was organised by Sanatan Sanstha on the street, on which procession proceeded.

2. An announcement was made that the dignitaries considered the Holy text ‘Necessity of Hindu Rashtra’ as most important, and all were advised to take benefit of the said Holy text.
