Putrajaya (Malaysia) :  Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak today announced a "balanced cabinet" comprising experienced and youthful individuals as well as technocrats.

Among the surprise inclusions were Transparency International Malaysia president Datuk Paul Low and Maybank president and CEO Datuk Seri Abdul Wahid Omar, who were both made ministers in the Prime Minister's Department.

Hindraf leader P Waythamoorthy, meanwhile, was named a deputy minister in the PM's Department.

Conspicuously missing in the line-up however were MCA representatives, although Najib indicated that there was still a chance a member would be included in the cabinet.
