Experiences of atrocities on Hindus by BJP during ‘Bhoj-shala Mukti Andolan’ at MP !

Introduction –  Hindus are allowed to perform ‘puja’ at Bhoj-shala (Sri Saraswatidevi Temple) once in a year, on the day of ‘Vasant-Panchami’ at Dhar, MP; but every Friday, Muslims are allowed to read ‘namaz’. In the year 2006, pro-Hindu activists were oppressed and BJP did the same thing even in the year 2013. This year, ‘Vasant Panchami’ fell on Friday; therefore, pro-Hindu activists took a stance that they would perform ‘puja’ in the temple and prepared to stage agitations for the demand; but even this time, anti-Hindu BJP Government repressed devotees of Sri Saraswati Devi who are also pro-Hindu activists. Atrocities meted out to Hindus by the BJP Government which has become power-hungry and very eager to appease Muslims, were narrated in the last session of the second day of second all-India Hindu Convention by those who actually went through that experience.  

Incident at Bhoj-shala shows the status of Hindus in an independent Bharat ! – Shri. Navalkishore Sharma, national Convener, ‘Bhoj-shala Mukti Yadnya Samiti’

I have been fighting for many years for freeing Bhoj-shala (Sri Saraswati Mandir) for Hindus and had very bad experiences, initially with Congress Government and later with BJP Government. Hindus have been fighting for the past 1000  years and the fight is not yet over even after independence. The atrocities meted out to Hindus at Bhoj-shala, indicate the status of Hindus in this independent Bharat, said Shri. Navalkishore Sharma, national Convener, ‘Bhoj-shala Mukti Yadnya Samiti’

Shri. Sharma said, “In the year 2006 also, ‘Vasant-Panchami’ had fallen on Friday which had to led to clashes between the State Government and Hindus on the issue of Muslims reading ‘namaz’ and similar incident took place even in the year 2013 as this year too ‘Vasant-Panchami’ fell on Friday. We were all set to perform ‘puja’ in Saraswati Mandir; I went to ‘Kumbh-Mela’ to seek support from people. The issue was explained to Saints, Dharmacharyas and Shankaracharya with the help of Poojya Dr. Charudatta Pingale, the national Guide of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Shri. Ramesh Shinde, national spokesperson of HJS. BJP and RSS somehow got the wind of it; therefore, they started spreading wrong information amongst Saints and religious leaders that ‘Shri. Sharma was trying to get a ticket to contest elections; therefore, he was creating problems and there was no need to pay attention to him’. Even then, we kept on presenting the facts of the issue with earnestness that created awareness amongst Saints. By then, BJP’s ministers from MP reached ‘Kumbh-Mela’. They kept on searching for marquees of Saints and Dharmacharyas and started searching for video-film shot by me on ‘Bhoj-shala’. Owing to the awareness created by us, Shankaracharya Swami Narendrananda Saraswati of Sumeru Peetha, Kashi took initiative and agreed to come to MP on the day of Vasant-Panchami. An air-ticket was booked for him; but MP Government cancelled the ticket on its own; therefore, Shankaracharya came to MP via Delhi; even then, MP Government put him under house arrest. Shankaracharya immediately started fast in protest when police tried to forcibly feed him.   

On the other hand, I was arrested at Jabalpur and taken to jungle. There, police were threatening to kill me every 15 minutes. I was hung upside down and beaten. I underwent grave tyranny. My brother was also arrested and police even threatened him with life. They started harassing our family members. In all this situation, I was feeling the presence of H. H. Dr. Athavale.

It was a ploy of a main ‘Pracharak’ of RSS to allow Muslims, at any cost, to read ‘namaz’ at Bhoj-shala and if required Hindus should be repressed. Such was the anti-Hindu plan of this ‘Pracharak’.

H. H. Dr. Athavale has created thousands of seekers !

Shri. Sharma said, “I had gone into severe depression as BJP Government had brutally oppressed me even at the time of ‘Bhoj-shala Mukti Andolan’. In that state only, I had attended the first all-India Hindu Convention last year. That time, I had ‘Darshan’ of H. H. Dr. Athavale which generated lot of enthusiasm in me. The feeling of loneliness was gone. With the blessings of H. H. Dr. Athavale, I could again intensify this agitation. In the following period, I came across Sanatan seekers quite often. H. H. Dr. Athavale has dedicated all his life for ‘Hinduttva’ and every seeker of Sanatan is also full of ‘Hinduttva’. We cannot bring up even our children properly; but H. H. Dr. Athavale has created thousands of seekers.   

Highlights

• When Shri. Navalkishore Sharma stated that a main ‘Pracaharak’ of RSS was behind the atrocities meted out to him during ‘Bhoj-shala Mukti Andolan’, Shri. Pramod Mutalik and some of the pro-Hindu activists were quite surprised to hear that.

• The atmosphere in the hall became quite serious when the experiences were narrated. Some of the pro-Hindu activists were expressing anger on BJP and RSS and were condemning them.  

• The time given to Shri. Sharma was over but only at the insistence of pro-Hindu activists, his time was extended.

• Shri. Sharma showed the VCD recorded by him on ‘Bhoj-shala’ after which pro-Hindu activists were expressing their strong disapproval.    

• Advocate Khandelwal said that Shri. Sharma’s experience brought tears to his eyes.

• The participants were spontaneously raising slogans of ‘Ma Saraswati Devi ki Jai’, ‘Jayatu Jayatu Hindu Rashtram’ and ‘Sriram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram’.
