Sanatan Hindu Dharma conducive to proper development of science

1. Field of Medicine : Ayurveda is considered to be fifth ‘Veda’. Importance of ‘Ayurveda’ is now being accepted by the whole world. India is the origin of plastic surgery; because in ancient India, operations for joining broken nose, broken ear, to create dimples on women’s cheeks used to take place.

2. Field of Mathematics : ‘Zero’ is the gift given by India to the world. We can go upto ‘Kharva’, ‘Nikharva’ in counting.

3. Field of Metallurgy : We have an iron pillar that does not rust.

4. Field of Astronomy : Indian scientists have described many ‘Nakshatras (stars)’ since ancient times.

5. Fields of Architecture and Sculpture : ‘Kailas’ caves at Verul have been sculpted from pinnacle to base in one stone.

6. Field of Aerodynamics : In 1895, Shri. Talapade made a plane using knowledge given in ‘Vedas’. He flew it in air for some time. Lokmanya Tilak had also attended this experiment.  

7. Field of Navigation of ships: Indian trading used to take place upto ‘Java-Sumatra’ i.e. today’s Indonesia through sea.

How can the culture, that induced such inventions, be against science ?
