Warananagar (Dist. Kolhapur, Maharashtra) : At Kodoli in Panhala Taluka, one tempo was intercepted while transporting 24 Indian cows to a slaughter house. A person named Jahangir Gawandi has been handed over to police for transporting cows. (Fanatics feel that they can get away with anything owing to rulers kowtowing to them all these years and therefore, they dare to commit such misdeeds. How long are Hindus going to keep on rescuing cows? The only remedy on this problem is establishment of Hindu Rashtra ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Shri. Chandrakant Shinde and Samadhan Patil of ‘Jai Gou-Mata Krushi ani Anusandhan Sanstha’ from Kodoli demanded during a press conference held on 24th June that stringent action under the Animal Protection Act, should be taken against illegal trading of cows. ‘Panchanama’ was done of cows in possession of Gawandi and they were sent to animal husbandry. There is a big chain of agents operating for sending cows to slaughter houses; therefore, their license should be cancelled and action should be taken against them under Animal Protection Act, demanded Shri. Samadhan Patil.
