Dhar (Madhya Pradesh) : Tridandi Swami Shankaracharya, national leader of Hindu Mahasabha has demanded that the idol of ‘Vagdevi’ should be re-consecrated in Bhoj-shala. He even staged demonstrations for this demand at Rajwada Chowk.
Tridandi Swami Shankaracharya made an appeal to Hindus and said, “Now is the time! Wake up and strive for bringing back ‘Vagdevi Mata’. BJP gained power on Hindu votes and then stabbed Hindus in back. It will have to bear the consequences in the forthcoming elections.”
Changes in Bhoj-Utsav Committee
BJP leader Ashok Jain, the President of ‘Bhoj-Utsav Committee’, has rendered resignation. Krushna Nagar has been elected as new President. Jain held this post for the past 12-13 years. Under his leadership only, agitations were held in connection with various issues related to Bhoj-shala.
