Hindu organisations submit petition to Mumbai Police Commissioner
Why do devout Hindu organisations need to make such a demand ? Why don’t the Police act against the accused voluntarily ? – Editor
Navi Mumbai : Minor girls residing in the church-run ‘Bethel Gospel Charitable Trust’ in Seawoods have been sexually assaulted. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) along with a delegation of Hindu organisations submitted a petition to the Police Commissioner of Navi Mumbai Bipin Kumar Singh demanding a thorough inquiry of the case, stringent punishment to the guilty, and an investigation into all the hostels run by the Churches in Navi Mumbai.
The Police Commissioner said “if the information of those assisting the criminals was made available then they would definitely take note”. He also said that a separate cell had been formed to stem the recurrence of such cases and they also had been given instructions in that regard.

Lecherous Hostel manager arrested
Based on a complaint registered by Women and Child Development officer against Rajkumar Yeshudasan, the manager running the hostel, he has been arrested. Such kind of immorality in Christian institutions under the garb of prayers and public service is tarnishing the image of humanity. Society is furious over this incident and people have been vocal in demanding that the guilty be punished severely.
