Nanded: In one of the local schools, students are presented with religious material for propagating Christianity. Such gift boxes were recently confiscated by members of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP). Members of VHP undertook this drive and collected such material. They also beat up the concerned teacher and school staff.
In an English medium school called ‘Cambridge’, students are given a gift every month. Some of the parents of students studying in this school noticed that the gift boxes contained, matter related to propagation of Christianity. It mainly contained booklet having praises of Christ and other material. The workers of Bajarang Dal noticed the matter and they went to the school to get clarification; but teachers and school staff tried to evade their queries. As a result, members of VHP were enraged and they beat up the concerned teacher and school staff. Teachers have lodged a complaint in this regard.
