Sindhudurg : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti showcases valour of revolutionaries

Organised on the occasion of country’s 75th Independence Day

Sindhudurg : We are enjoying freedom today because of the infinite sacrifices of the revolutionaries. In order to remember their sacrifice and bravery and to inspire everyone to strive for the nation and Dharma, the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti organised a series of ‘Swatantryagatha Shaurya Lectures’ at various places in the district. These lectures were held from 1st August to 15th August on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day at various places like Malgaon, Madure in Sawantwadi taluka as well as Kankavali, Vaibhavwadi, Kasal in Kudal Taluka, Wadiwarwade, and Goveri. On this occasion, the brave history of the revolutionaries was narrated to the society through various posters. A total of 550 people attended these lectures. These lectures were planned with the initiative of the trainees coming to the self defense training classes organised by HJS.

1. Posters displaying the work of the revolutionaries became the center of attraction for all.

2. After the lecture, at some places the attendees requested self-defense training classes.

3. Many attendees said they were inspired from the lectures.
