Take legal action against those responsible – Police complaint by devout Rambhau Methe
Kolhapur : A complaint was registered at Juna Rajwada Police Station against Kolhapur Municipal Corporation staff responsible for immersing Shri Ganesh idols using an automatic conveyor belt. Police Inspector Mr Dattatray Nale said that suitable action will be taken after taking the opinion of the experts. Mr Kiran Duse, Kolhapur coordinator of HJS was present. It is mentioned in the complaint that a video showing the workers of the Municipal Corporation throwing donated Shri Ganesh idols brought by truck, had hurt the religious sentiments of all Hindus, hence a criminal complaint must be registered.
