Hupari (Kolhapur District) : A Hindu Rashtra-Jagruti andolan was held at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Chowk on 21st September to demand the immediate release of Telangana MLA T. Raja Singh. After the protest, a petition was given to Mayor Jayashree Ghat, while Sub-Inspector of Police Raosaheb Hazare came to the protest site and accepted the statement. Vice President of ‘Chandi Association’ Mr Dinkarrao Sase, President of Durgvedh Foundation Mr Praveen Patil, Bharatiya Janata Party’s Mr Sudarshan Khade and Shahar Adhyaksh Mr Subhash Kagle, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s Mr Kiran Duse, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Mr Sandeep Pawar expressed their thoughts. Hindus participated in the protest spontaneously and enthusiastically.

Over 50 devout Hindus including Mr Mohan Waingade and Mr Rajesh Bhoje of the Maratha community, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Mr Umesh Daine, businessman Mr Shivraj Naik, Shiv Sena’s Mr Rahul Potdar, Hupari City President of Lokkalyan Consumer Welfare Institute Mr Nitin Kakade, activists of Shri Ram Pratishthan and Shri Shiv Pratisthan Hindusthan.
