Mhapsa(Goa): Members of ‘Believers’ were forcing Smt. Vijaya Ankush Chyari, from Mhapsa, her son and daughter-in-law to convert to Christianity. The members tried to convert even other residents of the village Mayade in Mhapsa. As per the information received, Smt. Chyari’s son and daughter-in-law were considerably influenced by the members of ‘Believers’. Smt. Chyari got worried and lodged a complaint with the police and appealed to them to stop such forceful conversions. Police officer at Mhapsa had discussions with Smt. Chyari and members of Bajarang Dal and VHP. Activities of ‘Believers’ have been creating a furor in the village.
