Stop ‘Governmentalization’ of temples and let devotees manage the temples !

Mumbai : ‘Deva-sthan Vyavasthapan Samiti’ has built 33 constructions in the premises of Sri Mahalakshmi Mandir at Kolhapur, without taking necessary permission. The District Collector received a report on the issue on 2nd January 2013. On hearing, the District Collector issued order that the structures which are detrimental to the original construction of the temple should be immediately demolished. The above information was given by the Chief Minister, Pruthviraj Chavan in reply to a ‘starred’ question in Legislative Council. ( If Mandir Management Committee is only erecting unauthorized construction in the premises of temple, it is proved that such committee is not protecting the temple but is misusing its powers for own selfish interests. It should be brought forth that in what way the temple committee was benefited due to such illegal constructions. It is one more example of how the temples taken over by the Government are mismanaged.  The Government should have realized such malpractices before and taken action. Why people have to take up the issue to District Collector? Hindus need to oust the secular Congress Government and establish Hindu Rashtra with righteous rulers for preserving the sacredness and wealth of their temples ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat )
