Cancel immediately the tremendous reduction in the air travel fare for Haj pilgrimage ! – Sou. Namrata Shastri, Sanatan Sanstha

Nagpur : It is an eye wash for Hindus by the Central Govt. cancelling the grant for Haj pilgrimage on one hand but giving the reduction of the same amount in its air travel fare on the other. Govt. controls the number of Amarnath pilgrims but reaching the highest number in 70 years by allowing 1 lac 75 thousand and 5 pilgrims for Haj. Central Govt. should cancel immediately the tremendous reduction in the air travel fare for Haj pilgrimage, said Sou. Namrata Shastri of Sanatan Sanstha. She was addressing the audience gathered at the National Hindu Movement held on 17th March. Many other volunteers of Dharmajagaran, HJS. SS were present at the venue.

Demands made there

  1. To cancel the permission granted to Rohingya Muslims to settle in Bhagyanagar immediately.
  2. To file cases of cheating and misappropriation of donation money on the corrupt trustees of Siddhivinayak Temple.
  3. Representation with the above demands was given to the District Collector. He assured the Delegation that due action would be taken.

Highlights

  • Spontaneous slogans were given by Hindutvanishtha present there.
  • Many Dharmabhimani and citizens made signatures on the said representation.
  • Police had denied permission to hold the movement at the scheduled venue on the previous day; but at night they granted permission to hold it at the same venue.
