Shri. Ramesh Shinde, National Spokesperson, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti visited various districts in Tamil Nadu recently. Here is the brief report of the tour.
Tiruvannamalai District

A satsang was organised at Arani (Tiruvannamalai district), Tamilnadu. Around 20 devout Hindus attended of whom 10 were ladies. Shri. Ramesh Shinde spoke about the importance of following Hindu Dharma and how hindu culture was systematically damaged by western influence. He also spoke about Love jihad and emphasised the necessity of following achardharma (practicing dharma) in day to day life along with family life.
The women were impressed with the achardharma part and they immediately fixed up the dates and venue of regular satsang every fortnight. One woman has volunteered to have the satsang at her house.
Chennai district

A meeting was organised for the devout Hindus in Chennai. Around 20 devout Hindus attended the meet. Shri. Ramesh Shinde showed some important videos regarding the unsecured state of our Bharat borders with Pakistan and Bangladesh. He also showed news reports about love jihad. He implored the audience to give at least 1-2 hours daily for the sake of Dharma protection. Some of the devout Hindus were very impressed that they stayed back for some more time to discuss in detail with Shri. Shinde.
In Chennai Shri Ramesh Shinde also personally met prominent devout Hindus like Shri. Kumar Chellappan (Journalist of Pioneer Daily newspaper), Shri. V Sundaram (Retd IAS Officer), Shri. Vaidayanathan (senior advocate), Shri. Narayanaswamy (Working President, Tamilnadu VHP), Shri. B R Haran (Senior Journalist), Shri. Badri (Temple Worshippers Society), Shri. Ashok Joshi (a businessman) and Shri. G. S. Subramaniam (Braintrust). He spoke with them in detail about the necessity of uniting together to work towards Hindu Rashtra.
Madurai district
A guidance program was arranged on 29th July in Madurai at SS Colony. Shri. Chinmaya Somasundaram, President of Madurai unit of TamilNadu VHP who arranged the program gave brief of its activities in Madurai. Shri. Ramesh Shinde, emphasised the importance of participating in Dharmakarya. He urged all the dharmaveers present there to take up the active role of as per their capacity in Dharma karya.
He explained in detail how HJS is fighting corruption in govt controlled temples, how HJS has worked against jihadi elements involved in love jihad and saved Hindu girls from their clutches. In all the campaigns how HJS has got tremendous success and also in creating awareness among the Hindus the need to unite and protest against wrong-doings in legal manner. All the active members of Madurai unit of Tamilnadu VHP attended the meeting.
All the participants liked the guidance very much and were willing to start a branch of the HJS in Madurai.

Coimbatore district

In Coimbatore, a program was organised by Sri Arjun Sampath (President, Hindu Makkal Katchi) at Sri Annamalai Hall. The program started with prayers followed by garlanding of photos of Hindu leaders who were murdered recently by anti-Hindus. Over 100 people, mostly youth attended the program.
Sri Balamurugan Swamiji of Kovai Aathenam, Sri Sivashanmuga Sundara Babuji Swamiji from Malumitchampatti, Coimbatore, Sri Meikonda Adigal of Madukarai, and Sri Krishnamurthi Swamiji of Coimbatore also graced the occaision.
Hindu Janajagruti Samiti was represented by Shri. Kashinath Shetti and Shri. Prabhakaran from Chennai, Shri. Lakshmanan of Coimbatore and Shri. Nandakumar of Kerala.
Shri. Ramesh Shinde explained the pathetic condition of Kashmiri Hindus, the killing of Hindu leaders by anti-Hindus, how Bangaladeshis infiltrated into Bharat and how unsafe our national borders are, the spending of funds collected from Hindus for welfare of minorities etc.
He also highlighted the importance of abiding by Hindu culture and practising Achardharma through various videos.
Shri. Arjun Sampath has expressed his desire to organise more such programs in future. He also promised to propagate these issues in all his future programs and meetings.
A good exhibition of flex was a unique feature of the program. On one side flex were displayed depicting the atrocities committed by Tipu Sultan in Bharat for whom the Tamil Nadu govt is considering to construct a memorial.
On the other side of the hall, various flex explaining the need for establishment of Hindu Rashtra, Achardharma, kuladevata chanting etc published by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti were displayed.
