‘Re-mix’ national song played in multiplex theatres: patriots enraged !

Shravan Shuklapaksha 10, Kaliyug Varsha 5115

People should note that present rulers lack patriotism and therefore, patriotic citizens have to tolerate abuse of national song. Establish Hindu Rashtra to bring about a change in this situation !

  • In the background of Independence Day, it’s deliberate attempt exhibiting insolence

  • Dy. Commissioner to take action

  • Ministers promise on paper

Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) – In different multiplex theatres in the city, national song is played in ‘re-mix’ form and in illegal manner. This has led to enragement amongst patriotic citizens. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has made a demand to take action against the concerned persons. A representation was submitted to Dy. Commissioner of Police, Shri. Somanath Gharge when he immediately promised to take action on 14th August.

In theatres like Anjali Big Cinema, Satyam Cineplex, E-Square, Fame Tapadia and PVR etc. national song is played in different forms; but the national song which is played there, is a ‘re-mix’ set to tune by Rehman and not the original. It is also played unnecessarily for 2 minutes, instead of for 52 seconds as per the rules formulated by the Government. This wrong practice followed in theatres, was realized in the background of Independence Day and patriotic citizens stated that such insult of national song would not be tolerated. HJS has submitted a representation to Shri. Itware, the Resident District Collector, demanding stringent action against the guilty. He promptly instructed the concerned staff to take necessary action. S/ Shri. Ashok Kulkarni of HJS, Subhash Kumavat, ‘Dharma-prasarak’ of VHP, Akhil Vakil, its ‘Saha-Mantri’, pro-Hindu activists viz. Govind Joshi and Balaji Kathale etc. were present on the occasion.

What is the use of such ministers who take action only on paper ?

In this connection, Shri. Suresh Shetty, Minister for Protocol said that an ordinance would be soon issued for playing the same national song at all places. CDs of the national song played in State Assembly would be distributed. (Here, the Minister is not talking about taking action against those responsible for insulting national song. Why should such Ministers be provided anything out of the tax paid by people from their salaries ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Govt. should take action under prevailing laws ! – HJS

The Theatre-owners have, however, shirked from their responsibility by claiming that they were playing whatever was available. Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, the Coordinator of HJS for Maharashtra said that not paying respect to national song is like insulting the nation. Under the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971, it is a serious offence; but the Government is indifferent towards the issue. The Government should take prompt action and file cases against the guilty as per prevailing laws.
