Issue of Azad Maidan riots

Mumbai – On 11th August 2012, fanatic and anti-national Muslims resorted to riots at Azad Maidan. Even after one year of that incident, the Congress Government is deliberately avoiding to take action against the guilty and to get losses reimbursed by them. On Saturday, 15 religious, pro-Hindu and patriotic organizations came together and took out a march to register their strong protest against such inaction. The march was taken from Dhobi-ghat (Asalpha) to Sakinaka Junction (signal) between 6.30 and 8.30 p.m. Devout Hindus took part in the march in large numbers and expressed their anger over Congress Government.

Congress Government’s backing anti-nationals was condemned !

  • Demand to hang fanatics who molested lady police !
  • Demand was made to reimbursement of losses by Raza Academy !
  • Demand was made for filing case for death of police constable Santosh Hande !
  • Demand was made to impose ban on Raza Academy and other similar organizations !

Few questions asked to the Govt. and demands made ……

  • When there were no women participating in the march taken out by Muslims, why lady police staff was deployed ? Action should be taken against those responsible for such act .
  • Why action was taken against the poem written by Police Inspector, Sou. Sujata Patil opposing rioters ?
  • When violent history of Raza Academy and other Muslim organizations was known, why were they given permission to stage demonstrations and meeting at Azad Maidan ? What action is going to be taken against the responsible persons ?
  • Why action was not taken against fanatic maulavis, former police officer Samsher Khan Pathan and present police officer, Krushnaprakash for their speeches ? When action is going to be taken against them ?
  • How did the youth gathered there, acquire hockey sticks, rods with iron nails, iron bars, petrol and destructive weapons ? Why the mob became violent ? Who made provocative speeches ? How to find answers to these questions ?
  • How could Muslims dare to attack police ? When are the persons going to be punished who damaged ‘Amar Jawan Jyot’; thus attacking identity of this country,?
  • Why no action has been taken against the then Police Commissioner Arup Patnaik who ordered his officers and staff to release rioters ?
