Police conduct inquiry into agitations staged by Hindu organisations against ‘Love Jihad’

People should note that police, who do not prevent Jihadis from ‘love jihad’, are prohibiting Hindus from creating awareness about ‘love jihad’ !

In the text of History for 5th standard of CBSE curriculum, Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi has been shown as smoking ‘hookah’. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) staged agitations to protest against this picture as also to protest against attempts to murder and murders of Hindu leaders taking place in various countries. The agitation was held on 4th August in one city by HJS along with different pro-Hindu organizations. On the following day of such agitation, i.e. on 5th August, a police officer from special branch called up an activist of HJS on his cell phone around 2.00 p.m. to inquire about the agitation. The following conversation took place-

Police Officer (PO) : Yesterday, you held demonstrations. What is the name of chief of your women’s wing ?

Activist (A) : There is no separate women’s branch.

PO : Don’t you have a branch called ‘Ranaragini?’

A : There is no such branch here.

On the same day, another police officer from the same department called up the same activist at 5.00 p.m. and he told the activist that he wanted to talk to some other activist. The activist informed the officer that the required person was not available and enquired about the reason for calling up that activist. The conversation that took place between them is given below.

PO: Yesterday, handbills on ‘love jihad’ were distributed during the demonstrations. What is the meaning of ‘love jihad’ ? (Kerala High Court has also acknowledged existence of ‘love jihad’; but the officer did not know about it. Such officers should be asked to sit at home ! Through ‘love jihad’, fanatic Jihadis deceive Hindu young women, convert them and marry them. After marrying them, they are divorced or forced to become prostitutes. What is the use of such police machinery that is not aware of the serious problem of ‘love jihad’ ? People following other religions distribute handbills in their languages, put up posters etc. and through their prayer-houses, openly spread messages detrimental to this country. Will police ever take the trouble of going there and find out the meaning of those handbills or what is happening in the prayer-houses ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

A: Incidents of ‘love jihad’ are happening everywhere. Every day news about the same are published. In fact, you will have more information. We are distributing handbills only to create awareness.

PO: What was the purpose of distributing such handbills during yesterday’s demonstrations ? Where is the ‘Ranaragini’ branch ?

A: The purpose of distributing handbills is creating awareness only. Ranaragini is a Division of HJS; but there is no branch here. (PO stopped the topic and once again said that he wanted to talk to other activists.)

A: I will convey the message in case of contact.

PO: This number was on the handbill, is it your number ? Are you also working for HJS? What post are you holding ?

A: This number cannot be on the handbills. You must be mistaken. (PO telling lies to extract information. Activists should be alert and check the truth behind such confusing questions posed by the police officers ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) HJS is for every Hindu; therefore, we take part in HJS activities. There is no system of post etc. in HJS.

PO: Yesterday, handbills on ‘love jihad’ should not have been distributed as Eid is approaching. (Police can tell such things only to Hindus because they are tolerant. Have police ever told fanatics that they should not start riots during festivals of Hindus ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Distribution of such handbills unnecessarily create stress for the administration and if the report is sent to higher authorities, you will only come into trouble. (Police officers do not leave a single chance to harass Hindus; but show as if they are concerned ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Followers of other religions never take permission from police to demonstrate and even take law in their hand. Police, however, don’t conduct inquiry; nor do they take action against such persons. HJS and other pro-Hindu organizations have always staged every agitation peacefully and in lawful manner; still police keep on inquiring about them and harass Hindus. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
