Chiplun (Maharashtra) : The corruption worth crores of rupees indulged in by Shri Vitthal-Rukmini temple Committee at Pandharpur, which is an article of faith for crores of devotees was recently exposed by Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. Dissolve the Government Committee destroying the sanctity of Pandharpur temple ! –  H.B.P. Shantaram Navele

The Government had claimed that the wealth of Pandharpur temple was plundered earlier, and hence the temple was taken over. However, the loot of the temple continues even by the Government. As a result, Pandharpur pilgrim centre is being maligned. The Government temple committee should be dissolved, and temple should be handed over to Varakaris. This will enhance the reputation of the temple.

Varakaris extremely enraged due to anti-Hindu role of the Government ! – H.B.P. Bhagawan Kokare

Varakaris are extremely enraged due to anti-Hindu role of the Government. Dissolve the Government appointed temple committee and enforce the Act to ban cow-slaughter. These are insistent demands by Varakaris, and if these are not met, we will gherao the Deputy Chief Minister. The owners of the Pandharpur temple are devotees, and not the Government. The funds donated by the devotees should be utilised only for Hindus, and not for other communities.

We will participate with full strength in this agitation ! – Shri. Abhay Chitale

There should be no political dominance over the temple ! – Shri Shashikant Modi

Temples are articles of faith for Hindus; hence there should be no political dominance over the temple. Wherever there is assault on Hindu Dharma, Shiv Sena will take to streets. Shiv Sainiks will participate in large numbers, in this agitation.

Stringent action should be taken against corrupt ! – Shri. Sunil Ghanvat

When the Government is bent upon privatisation of all fields, the conspiracy to take over temples by the Government should be stopped. The Government should declare as to how many Masjids and Churches have been taken over by it. The Government, which sells cows donated to Deity Shri Vitthal to butchers is a great sinner.

Commendable statement about the mission of Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti by H.B.P. Bhagawan Kokare Maharaj

Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti organisations have become a shield of Hindu Dharma by enduring every blow on Hindus, on their own body. They have fought against every instance of injustice suffered by Hindu Dharma. For this purpose, they have become an umbrella of Hindus for the organisations all over Bharat. – H.B.P. Bhagawan Kokare Maharaj, Ratnagiri District President of Maharashtra Rajya Varakari Mahamandal
