In yet another shocking instance of church related sex scandals, a pastor has been arrested for raping a 23 year old woman. The woman, state sources, is mentally unstable.
The incident took place on Tuesday, when Pastor Manu went to the woman's house to hand over church pamphlets. On finding the woman alone, Manu allegedly took her inside, with devious intentions. The woman's mother had gone for work.
The heinous crime was committed after locking her inside.
The woman's mother, who had gone out, found her daughter crying hysterically, when she returned home. On repeated queries, she came to know that her daughter was assaulted sexually by the pastor, who was taking rest inside the house.
The mother approached her neighbours and alerted them about the pastor's deeds. He was cornered and promptly handed over to the police. He has been remanded to police custody.
The woman has been admitted in the hospital for a medical examination.
