Police brand innocent HJS activist as a ‘goonda’ !
Puttur (Karnataka) : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) displays a board outside ‘Bharatmata Sabha Bhavan’ at Kallega on which matter related to protection of nation and Dharma is written every day, creating awareness amongst people. News about anti-national fanatics raising slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ after ‘Iftar’ party held at Kekadi (Rajasthan) was written on the Board. Congress worker and bus-driver Nagesh raised objection to it lodging complaint with the local police station; therefore, the Board was removed. (Why Congressmen should get angry if true incidents are published ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Police put name of HJS activist who was associated with writing matter on Board, in their list of ‘goondas’.
1. Nagesh first called up Shri. Ajay Kumar, who used to write on the Board, asking him to remove the board; so Shri. Ajay Kumar removed it. Later, ‘Sabha Bhavan’s office bearers asked him that why the board was removed and asked him to put it back. It was, therefore, placed again.
2. Nagesh went to the police station and lodged a complaint. After the complaint was lodged, police called up Shri. Dayanand Puttur of HJS (as his name and number was written on the board) and asked him to go to the police station. Police Superintendent was also present in the police station at that time; therefore, Shri. Dayanand was pressurised to remove the board. He went to Bharatmata Bhavan and removed the board. Police present at the venue took Shri. Dayanand back to the police station.
3. One police officer threateningly talked to Shri. Dayanand and informed the Police Superintendent that ‘Shri. Dayanand was a fiend; he advises that crackers should not be burst during Ganesha Festival.’ (Why police feel it was wrong to advise against bursting crackers and air pollution caused by it during Ganesha Festival.- Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) On this, the Police Superintendent asked his staff to put the name of Shri. Dayanand in the list of ‘goondas’.
4. Police then took a photograph of Shri. Dayanand, took down his address so also names, addresses and contact numbers of his friends before he was allowed to go. He was also warned to report immediately to the police station whenever called.
5. The police officer sent a copy of weekly ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ to Tehsildar as the matter was written on the board from that newspaper. It was published few days ago that names of persons who create confusion through views related to religious matters, will be put in the list of ‘goondas’. (Police brand persons as ‘goondas’ only because confusion is created through their views related to religious matters; but fanatics defy law and order every day in the name of ‘Islam is in danger’; then why police don’t take any action ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
