Anti-Hindus demand to declare Shri Dattapeeth at Chikmagalur as ‘Bababudan’ Dargah

Anti-Dharma demand by anti-Hindu ‘Karnataka Komu Souharda Vedike’!

Chikmagalur, Karnataka: ‘In the year 2008, the Supreme Court had ordered that the rituals that were being followed in connetion with the Bababudan Dargah (Islamic shrine) prior to the year 1975, should be continued in the Guru Dattatreya temple. Now, ‘Karnataka Komu Souharda Vedike’ has demanded that the court orders should be followed and no new rituals should be permitted.

1. ‘Karnataka Komu Souharda Vedike’ has demanded that the State Government should abstain from further ‘saffronisation’ of the Guru Dattatreya Bababudan Swami Dargah. (Guru Dattatreya temple is a ‘Datta-Pith’. Muslim invaders had attacked this temple and turned it into a Dargah. However, after many years of fight given by the Hindus against this transformation, the BJP Government had declared it a Datta temple. If anybody now raises a demand for its re-conversion into a Dargah, Hindus should unite and oppose any such demand! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

2. The ’Saffronisation’ of this sacred place began after the BJP Government came into power in the state. Both, Hindus and Muslims, come together to visit this Dargah. This tradition should continue said A. K. Subayya, a member of ‘Karnataka Komu Souharda Vedike’ while speaking with journalists. (There is not the slightest possibility of Hindus and Muslims coming together as we are experiencing this from the date of partition of the Nation. 3. In the year 2012, BJP Government had renamed Dargah as Shri Datta temple by issuing a gazette notification and included it in the list of Shri Datta temples.

4. General Secretary of ‘Karnataka Komu Souharda Vedike’, K.L. Ashok demanded that this notification should be withdrawn by the present Government, and the shrine should be renamed as Guru Dattatreya Bababudan Swami Dargah. (Ideologocally castrated K. L. Ashok!
