Apology letter from 'Citybank'

Apology letter from ‘Citybank’

Pune: Hindu Janajagruti Samiti learnt that after UTI Bank in Pune exhibited paintings of anti-Hindu painter M F Hussain, a branch of ‘Citi’ bank also put up paintings of Hussain. Members of HJS, Matoshree Pratishthan and Pune Army Ganapati Mandal met the manager of the bank; but it was observed that even before protests, the paintings had been removed by the bank. The management was asked why the paintings were put up in the first place? They were told that the Marketing Division of the bank had sent those paintings and were later removed on their instructions only. The Management apologized for hurting the feelings of Hindus and assured that their branches would not put up such paintings again.
