Panun Kashmir gave an overview of the recent presentation made before the Parliamentary standing committee on Home affairs and its follow-up meeting called by the Home secretary to government of India on the Action Taken Report regarding the recommendations made by the Committee for the welfare of Kashmiri displaced people. Panun Kashmir made it clear in the programme at Panchkula that the Kashmiri Pandits are the indigenous people of Kashmir and have an inalienable right over the territory of Kashmir. The rightful claim on the territory of Kashmir is non-negotiable and so is the demand of Homeland for the seven lakh displaced Kashmiri Hindus who were hounded out of Kashmir by the fundamentalist and terrorist forces aided and abetted by the State of Pakistan. Pakistan is a state sponsor of terror and unless it gives up its policy of fermenting trouble in India, no meaningful engagement with it is possible. The Kashmiri Hindus being the direct victim of terrorism and fundamentalism in Kashmir also demand abrogation of Article 370 as it has provided a reason for the secessionist tendencies in the J&K state.
