* Maharashtra Pollution Control Board’s order to close the Slaughterhouse disregarded !
*Displeasure among citizens because of avoidance to take action against Slaughter-house by Commissioner Shrikar Paradeshi, known for taking prompt action against illegal constructions !
Pune – Slaughter-house at Pimpri, which was closed due to voice raised by Gou-premis (patrons of cows) with unity, has been restarted by the Municipal Corporation by recovering a security deposit of rupees 6 lakhs. Even the Pollution Control Board had issued written order on 22nd November 2012 to Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation for closing down the slaughter-house, claiming it to be unauthorised. Later, due to agitation staged by Gou-premis in December 2012, the administration had closed down the slaughter-house. Still the Municipal Corporation, in the habit of bowing before Muslims, has granted permission to restart the slaughter-house. Gou-premis issued a warning in a press conference held on 12th October that a fierce agitation would be launched if the slaughter-house was not closed down promptly on a permanent basis, and threatened to move Court of law for taking action against guilty officers.
(O Hindus ! The facts such as the administration not initiating action to close illegal slaughter-house, dismissing Gou-premis, agitating for closure of the slaughter-house under lame excuses and Gou-premis being forced to fight needlessly for their just demand; go to show futility of democracy. Administrative officers in Hindu Rashtra, will not appease Muslims, nor will they shirk from their duties, and there will be no slaughter-houses for killing of animals ! O Hindus ! Only for this purpose, lead successfully on the path to establish Hindu Rashtra with extensive unification ! – Editor, Daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’) Prof. Ashok Pagariya of Pimpri-Chinchwad Jain Mahamandal, Shri. Suryakant Muthiyan of Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana, Shri. Nitin Vatkar of Go-vansh Raksha Samiti, Dr. Ajay Jagtap of Patanjali Yog Samiti, Adv. Rahul Bora, Shri. Parag Gokhale of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Adv. Harshad Mandke were present on the occasion..
To hell with the rules !
1. In the slaughterhouse area, rules regarding cleanliness are not adhered to.
2. There is no proper construction of the slaughter-house building. Animals are slaughtered in a tin shed.
3. The meat is sold through stalls of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation.
4. Waste water is released in the river without any effluent treatment.
5. When there is a ban on the slaughtering of animals under 16 years of age, animals of even tender age are slaughtered.
‘When there is a need to erect cow-shelters, leave alone building them, but they are not granted any subsidy. On the contrary, unauthorised operation of the slaughter-house is totally overlooked’, said Dr. Ajay Jagtap.
