Rally held at Bhagyanagar for protection of cows

Bhagyanagar (Hyderabad) – Shri. Raja Singh Thakur, President of BJP’s ‘Gou-seva’ Division had held a meeting called ‘Gou-raksha Garjana’ at Bhagyanagar to prevent cow-slaughter and smuggling of cows taking place on the occasion of ‘Bakri Eid’. Many dignitaries shared the dais with him, including famous Saint ‘Poojya’ Shivaswamiji from Andhra Pradesh and Shri. Ramesh Shinde, the national spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. The meeting was attended by about 1000 devout Hindu youth. Shri. Raja Singh Thakur explained importance of cows to youth attending the meeting and made an appeal to them to take active part in prevention of cow-slaughter on the occasion of Eid. He also said that the Government is not doing anything for protection of cows; moreover, it is creating obstacles in this mission undertaken by pro-Hindu activists. Many local office bearers of BJP addressed the meeting. Shri. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of HJS gave information on exhibition prepared by HJS on the subject of protection of cows (Gou-rakshan).
