VHP is not expected just to criticise, but should take firm action for preventing repression !
Matter pertaining to ban on Sankalp Din of VHP by Uttar Pradesh Government
New Delhi – Uttar Pradesh Government has imposed a ban on Sankalp Din (Day of resolve) organised by Vishwa Hindu Parishad on 18th October for building Shriram temple in Ayodhya. VHP strongly protests against this ban. ‘Uttar Pradesh Government had tried to obstruct 84 Kosi Parikrama in Ayodhya, even earlier. Under pressurisation tactics used by State Minister, Azam Khan and in the name of secularism Samajwadi Party’s Government is encouraging terrorists and constantly repressing devotees of Shriram,’ criticised Publicity Chief of VHP, Shri. Vinod Bansal through a press note.
Lot of preparations are going on in New Dehli on the occasion of Sankalp Din proposed on 18th October for the purpose of building Shriram temple. As per the information given by Shri. Satyendra Mohan, VHP’s Mahamantri at Delhi, millions of devotees of Shriram are expected to attend the meetings organised on this occasion.
Instead of cane-charging those involved in animal –slaughter, police cane-chargepersons trying to prevent such slaughter !
The press note further states, ‘illegal slaughter of animals was carried on road in Sundernagari area under the jurisdiction of Nandnagari police station in Delhi. At that place, police were helping the culprits by standing there just as mute spectators. However, later, activists of VHP and Bajarang Dal opposed such slaughtering and took photographs of the place. Pro-Hindu organisations staged agitation to demand action against the persons slaughtering animals. However, police lathi-charged them who were trying to prevent animal-slaughter, instead of those slaughtering animals. (On one hand, declarations are made to take action against illegal slaughter of animals; but when actual slaughter of animals takes place, no action is taken against Muslims to appease them whereas, action is taken against devout Hindus. Is this secularism ? – Editor, Daily 'Sanatan Prabhat')
