Mahashivratri : 3-day online collective chanting program by HJS

Dhanbad (Jharkhand) – A special 3-day online program and collective chanting was organized here by the youth volunteers of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti on the occasion of Mahashivratri, .

This program was conducted daily from 4 pm to 4.45 pm. The Samiti’s Ms. Adya Singh and Ms. Nandita Aggarwal shared information on ‘Spiritual characteristics of Bhagwan Shiva, obtaining darshan of the Shivling in a temple, offering bel leaves, circumambulating the Shivling’ to the participants. At the end of the program, the attendees participated in collectively chanting ‘Om Namah Shivaya’. A large number of Shiva devotees from Katras, Dhanbad, Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Hazaribagh, Kolkata and North East India participated in this event.

Experiences of the attendees

During the program, some the attendees had some spiritual experiences. One attendee felt that she was sitting at the Feet of Shiva and chanting.
