Seminar on ‘Scientific Nature of Indian Culture’ at Technocrats Institute of Technology & Science, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh)!
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) – America has achieved progress in several fields including literacy, economy, industry and technology; but due to their lack of holistic vision of what development is, 60 to 70 percent of people there today are having mental health problems. Incidents of crime, addiction, rape, have increased to a great extent there. If we too leave the vision we have been handed down from Indian culture and spirituality and run after development, we will meet the same fate. Today, even modern science recognizes the importance of spiritual health, along with physical, mental and emotional health. Therefore, we need to realize that Indian culture and spirituality are the key to the all-round development of a human being, said Sadguru Dr. Charudatta Pingale, National Guide of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.
He was addressing the attendees in a seminar on the ‘Scientific Nature of Indian Culture’ organized at the ‘Technocrats Institute of Technology & Science’ here. Dr. Shashi Kumar Jain (Director), Principal Shri. Shishir Anwekar and Mr. Anand Jakhotia of the Samiti were present, while 150 students attended the Seminar. The Institute honoured Sadguru Dr Pingale with a memento.
Sadguru Dr. Pingale added, Today, the importance of experts in Sanskrit and Indian knowledge is increasing in many countries of the world. India has always been ahead in every field. ‘Time’ is determined by the Mahakaal of Ujjain. No object made by today’s modern science has a lifespan of more than 100 years; but many of our temples have stood for hundreds of years. We had such advanced engineering science. Ayurveda, surgery, planetary knowledge, the discovery of zero, the discovery of manned flight, and many other discoveries were made by the sages of India. Can we be called as a backward nation?
Today, parents abroad are not ready to take on the responsibility of students, let alone providing them love and support. Fortunately for students in India, their parents assume their responsibility. While the grandparents give the children the requisite sanskars, the family takes care of their needs. We should be grateful about this support system.
