Attempts to portray Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj as ‘secular’! – Kiran Duse, HJS

Kale (Taluka Panhala, District Kolhapur – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is a Hindu king and attempts are on to show ‘secularise’ him and his legacy. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj fixed the problems of cow slaughter, oppression of women, forced conversions etc. by establishing Hindavi Swaraj. Mr. Kiran Duse, Kolhapur district coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti appealed that to end the problems like Love Jihad, Land Jihad, concessions given to Waqf Board, Halal Jihad, Hindu Rashtra is necessary and everyone should give time for it. He was speaking on the topic ‘Hindavi Swarajya to Hindu Rashtra’ organized on the occasion of Shiv Jayanti celebrations at Kale on February 18. 250 people attended the event.

Prof. Navneet Nandkumar Yashwantrao spoke on ‘Understanding Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’. On 19th February Shivjyot Agaman Pujan, Janmakaal Sohala, Rangoli competition, a grand procession with traditional instruments and other events were also held.

1. Mr Kiran Duse also spoke in a lecture organized by the ‘Mawla Group Kaneriwadi’ in Kaneriwadi. Initially, aarti was offered to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. More than 125 fans of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj were present on this occasion.

2. Mrs. Rajshree Tiwari, Ranragini branch of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, delivered a lecture in Naratwade (Tq Radhanagari) which was attended by numerous people.
