Silverwares weighing 14 kgs lost in 17 days at Shri Bhavani Temple, Tuljapur

  • Hindus should make efforts towards taking over management of temples by devotees !

Dharashiv (Osmanabad) : It has been accused that a devotee from Pune had offered things made of silver worth 14 kgs to the temple of Goddess Tulajabhavani. These things were missing for 17 days and were found back in their place after 17 days. It is, however, demanded that inquiry should be made by State Crime Branch in this case. (When such valuable items were missing, why inquiry was not made immediately ? Those, responsible for the lapse, should be stringently punished ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)   

  1. On the day of ‘Chaitra Pournima’, 25th April 2013, Dandale family from Pune had offered silver items worth 14 kgs to Goddess Tulajabhavani; but those items were missing for 17 days and were re-deposited on 12th May 2013 by filing a receipt in the office of ‘Devasthan’.
  2. All the items were kept in ‘Chhabina’ on 25th April; but were missing after that till 12th May, accused Rajabhau Digambar Mane from Tulajapur.
  3. He has also made a demand through a representation submitted to District Collector and Dr. K. M. Nagargoje, the President of ‘Tulajabhavani Deva-sthan’ that investigation should be carried out into the incident.
  4. The items were handed over to the manager of ‘Mandir-Sansthan’, Sujeet Narhare when Deva-sthan’s Mahant Tukoji buva, President of ‘Pujari Mandal’ Kishore Gangane and manager, Dilip Naikwadi were present.
