Pune: Followers of Warkari Sect, members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) along with different Hindu and spiritual organizations, trustees of various temples etc. staged a one day token hunger strike, in front of the office of District Collector, as a mark of protest against the two proposed anti-Hindu Acts viz. anti-Black Magic Act and ‘Governmentalisation’ of temples’ Act.
At the conclusion of the strike, a delegation of HJS submitted a representation to Shri. Umakant Dangat, the district collector. Many leaders of various religious organizations participated in the hunger strike. These leaders appealed to people oppose the anti-Hindu Acts with all their might.
(All Hindus participating in the agitations against anti-Hindu Acts deserve congratulations. Every Hindu needs to be aware of the ramifications of the two Acts and unite to fight against them. – Editor)
