Mumbai : Out of the 4 ‘Peethas’ founded by Adya Shankaracharya, ‘Govardhan Peetha’ at Puri (Odisha) is ‘Adya-Peetha’. The present Shankaracharya, Swami Shri. Nishchalananda Saraswati of this ‘Peetha’ will be on his first visit to Maharashtra and Goa, from 20th November. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has, therefore, organised ‘Dharma-sabha’ and ‘Paduka-darshan’ ceremony on 20th November 2013, at Hutatma Babu Genu Maidan, Sector 8, near Ganesha Mandir, Sanpada, Navi Mumbai between 6.00 and 8.30 p.m. for people to get benefit of frank views and knowledge of Shankaracharya on nation and Dharma. Similar ‘Dharma-sabhas’ have also been organised at Pune and Goa. In a press conference held in this context, HJS made an appeal that those, who want to make offerings for ‘Dharama-sabha’, can contact on 9322533595 for further details. Dr. Uday Dhuri, the spokesperson of HJS, Shri. Shivaji Vatkar, its Mumbai District Coordinator and Shri. Anand Jakhotiya, Sanatan Sanstha’s spokesperson attended the press conference.
Social and religious awareness needs to be created amongst people ! – Dr. Uday Dhuri
The condition of society is very bad. In such situation, it is necessary to create awareness amongst people towards their social and religious obligations. When there was religious promiscuity in Hindustan, Adya Shankaracharya incarnated and undertook the mission of protecting Dharma which resulted in victory of Sanatan Dharma. All pro-Hindu organisations should take part in ‘Dharma-sabha’ to be held on 20th November.

Today, Dharma exists only due to guidance and blessings of Saints. Hindus very badly need guidance of Shankaracharya Swami Shri. Nishchalananda Saraswati Maharaj and it will serve many purposes.

Our nation, Dharma and culture are in danger. In such situation, presence of Shankaracharya Swami Shri. Nishchalananda Saraswati Maharaj in ‘Dharma-sabha’ organised by HJS has lot of significance. Only Saints will save this country from dangers ! When Arjuna was in trouble, Srikrushna narrated Geeta and uplifted him. Today, the country is in danger due to corruption, terrorism and inflation; therefore, guidance of Shankaracharya Swami Shri. Nishchalananda Saraswati Maharaj is necessary as per the times. Everyone should dedicate himself to the task of protection of nation, Dharma and culture. Media should also extend cooperation.
