Confiscate Hussain

Mumbai: A representation enlisting various demands was recently sent to the Mumbai Police Commissioner, Shri. Dhananjay Jadhav through Azad Maidan police station.

Hindu Janajgruti Samiti (HJS) sought prior permission of the police to stage a ‘chain hunger strike’ to protest against various issue like Black magic Bill, Temple take-over Bill, and demand action against anti-Hindu painter Husain etc. HJS successfully held agitations between 15 th & 17th March 2007 at Azad Maidan. Members of HJS requested for a meeting with the police commissioner.

Later, a representation was sent to the police commissioner through Azad Maidan Police station . More than 1250 complaints have been lodged against Hussain with various police stations. HJS has therefore, demanded immediate action against Hussain and attaching of Husain’s property in compliance with the order passed by Haridwar High Court.

(Had some Muslim organization asked for commissioner’s time, he would have immediately agreed. But behaviour of police for the cause of Hindus has always been very discouraging. Over-tolerance is the main cause of such condition of Hindus. – Editor)
