Karnataka Chief Minister, Siddharamayya’s faith in Astrology, who is all set to pass anti-superstitions Act !

Will ANiS say something on this ?

Bengaluru – A program to inaugurate a new train being introduced between ‘Chikaballapur – Kolar’ was to take place at 10.30 a.m. on 7th November at ‘Nandi Rangmandir’ in the premises of Government’s pre- degree college. Since the Chief Minister (CM) of Karnataka is against superstitions, Railway officers fixed a time for inauguration during ‘Raahu-kaal’; but at the last moment, CM Siddharamayya refused inauguration during ‘Raahu-kaal’. After 90 minutes, i.e. after the end of ‘Raahu-kaal’ around 12.00 noon, Siddharamayya inaugurated new train. He waited there all this while along with Railway Minister, Mallikarjuna Kharge, Central Minister, K. H. Muniyappa, Veerappa Moily, District’s Executive Secretary, Dinesh Gundurao, Vice Chairman of Legislative Assembly, N H Shivashankar and local administrative officers; besides many dignitaries.

Congress’ secular CM, Siddharamayya stopped his speech in the middle, on hearing ‘baang’ !

Will Siddharamayya do the same thing during ‘aarti’ or ‘puja’ ?

After end of ‘Raahu-kaal’, CM Siddharamayya started speaking in the inauguration program. Suddenly, he stopped his speech around 12.33 p.m. There is a mosque near the place of event. As it was a Friday, special ‘baang’ was hooted from this mosque for which the CM stopped his speech and continued his speech after the ‘baang’.
