Guru leads to God realisation, not ‘saffron flag’ ! – Shankaracharya Nishchalanand Saraswati

Devad (Panvel, Maharashtra) : Bhagavan Sriram made Sage Vasishtha as His Guru and acquired knowledge from him. Seekers and disciples acquire knowledge due to Guru. Guru teaches his disciples by dispelling their ignorance. H. H. Golwalkar Guruji and Swami Vivekananda continued the tradition of Guru-Shishya (Disciple). RSS, Bajarang Dal treat ‘saffron flag’ as their Guru; but they will not get knowledge from it; because we may feel close to and respect saffron flag; still it cannot lead us to God realisation. One should not cross the limits in anything. After going to ‘Gurukul’, one realises the importance of ‘Guru-Parampara (tradition)’. Saffron flag has importance in Hindu Dharma; similarly, Guru too has significance. I respect Shri. Mohan Bhagavat the national President of RSS; but where is he going to take the nation by advising to believe in ‘saffron flag’ as Guru, asked ‘Purvanmaya Govardhan Mutt, Puri Pithadheeshwar Srimat Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Nishchalanand Saraswatiji Maharaj’ in Sanatan ashram.

On 21st November, ‘darshan-sohala’ of Adya Shankaracharya’s holy ‘paduka’ and Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Nishchalanand Saraswati Maharaj was held in the ashram. About 250 people including businessmen, traders, Vaastu-experts, advocates, doctors etc. joined the ‘darshan-sohala’. In the beginning, Acharya Zamman shastri addressed the participants on matters related to nation and Dharma. Shri. Mohan Gurnani, Waman Waghmare and Manohar Bhatia garlanded Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Nishchalanand Saraswati Maharaj.

Rulers’ helplessness is resulting in Acts like anti-superstitions ! – Srimat Jagatguru Shankaracharya

Srimat Jagatguru Shankaracharya said, while accepting a representation submitted by Warakaris against anti-superstitions Act passed by Maharashtra Government, “Acts like anti-superstitions Act are passed due to helplessness of rulers. The Government is anti-Hindus and it is foreign conspiracy.” H.B.P. Padmakar Maharaj Patil, H.B.P. Chakusheth Popeta, H.B.P. Shankar Maharaj Patil and Shri. Motilal Jain of Jain community were present on the occasion.
