Ramnathi (Goa) : BJP and Congress, both the parties in this country, are giving false hopes to people, based on illusory development and people are also getting carried away with it. This development is taking the country and the world towards destruction. When countries like USA and Britain will realize the illusive nature of such development, they will go for development as defined by Sanatan Vedic Dharma and then Indians will follow them. Sanatan Vedic Dharma thinks about welfare of the whole universe. The above views were expressed by Purvanmaya Shri Govardhan Mutt, Puri Pithadheeshwar, Srimat Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Nishchalanand Saraswatiji Maharaj.
Srimat Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Nishchalanand Saraswatiji Maharaj addressed a press conference at Sanatan’s Ramnathi ashram. Jagatguru Shankarcharya, who is on a tour of Maharashtra and Goa, is in Goa from 22nd November. On 24th November, he will be addressing Hindus in a huge ‘Dharma-sabha’ at Madkai.
Shankaracharya said further while answering questions asked by reporters, “Cities are set up by destroying forests and villages. In countries like USA, such deceptive progress has resulted in decline of people. The world is going towards destruction as nature is being exploited. Hindu Dharma is supreme; therefore, Indians needs not emulate outsiders.
Hindu Dharma even guides us on how a cabinet of ministers should be. Govardhan Mutt is trying for Nepal being declared as a Hindu Rashtra once again. In a country, where Hindus are in majority, Muslims and Christians are given representation in every field, at every level; but are Hindus treated with respect in countries which follow Islam or Christianity ? Muslims and Christians are safer in this country than their own countries. Maharaj said regarding the purpose of ‘Dharma-sabha’ to be held at Madkai that every tour, discourse and project undertaken by him is for protection of identity and security of Hindus; considering welfare of followers of other religions.
