Guidance by Shankaracharya Swami Nishchalanand Saraswati to activists working for protection of nation and Dharma and for eminent persons
Pune (Maharashtra) : Samartha Ramdas Swami, Saint Tukaram Maharaj used to treat Shankaracharya as their Guru. In those days, Samartha Ramdas Swami had interaction with Shankaracharya for 21 days on prevention of Muslim invasion. I consider Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj as an ideal patriot and went to Pandharpur. When BJP- Shiv Sena ruled over Maharashtra, I had come to Mumbai in connection with issue related to birth-place of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. It is necessary to discuss the problem prudently amongst all the concerned regarding temples on forts existed during the period of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s rule. I am ready to tour Maharashtra for ten days for solving the problems related to ruined temples on forts, revival of temples and their maintenance. Maharashtra can take advantage of this. The above proposal was made by Purvanmaya Sri GovardhanMutt Puri Pithadheeshwar Srimat Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Nishchalanand Saraswatiji Maharaj. His guidance was arranged at Vinkar Hall from 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. for eminent persons and activists working for welfare of nation and Dharma. He expressed the above opinion while answering questions related to Dharma and nation.
Jagatguru Shankaracharya said ……….
1. Discipline, sentiments and morals have to be pure for fulfilling revolution. Revolution is necessary against directionless governance. The governance in Delhi was directionless.
2. Every Sect and organisation should forget about their ego. They should come together and discuss matters related to nation and Dharma for solving problems related to Hindu Dharma. Nowadays, every organization looks after only own interest. Nobody works for welfare of Hindus. Nobody helps other organizations. Such are the problems; therefore, unification of Hindus is not happening and no system can be devised for keeping in contact with each other.
3. Oppression of Hindus taking place presently by Muslims and other sectarians has surpassed oppression of Hindus by the British. The Government, rulers are responsible for the same; they have made Hindus weak.
Regarding the decision taken by Maharashtra Government to stop ‘abhishek’ of idols at Pandharpur, Tuljapur and Kolhapur for prevention of erosion, Jagatguru Shankaracharya said, “Those, who have problems regarding idols from temples of ‘sansthan’ era, can contact me.”
If I get invitation from others like given by Sanatan Sanstha, I will give time for Maharashtra ! “ – Jagatguru Shankaracharya
This year, Sanatan Sanstha invited me and arranged various programs; for which Sanatan Sanstha worked very hard using all its strength. Similarly, I am ready to give more time for Maharashtra. If Maharashtra wants to take benefit, it will be a big thing for Maharashtra.
