Protests against Hindu boy

ISLAMABAD: Protesters in large numbers took to the streets against the failure of the authorities to recover a Hindu boy kidnapped in Pakistan’s Sindh province.

Hundreds of activists of different political parties and social organisations, including Hindu Panchayat in Jacobabad town, took out a rally and observed a token hunger strike in front of the local press club on Sunday demanding the recovery of eight-year-old Om Kishan.

Led by Member of Provincial Assembly Shandar, Abdul Sattar Brohi, Ahmed Ali Brohi, Nadeem Qureshi and others, the protesters flayed the police apathy in the issue.

Demanding immediate recovery of the boy, the leaders also criticised the administration for deteriorating law and order situation in the district.

Activists belonging to different political parties joined by Shahree Ittehad, Hindu Panchayat and others social organisations took out a rally and observed two hours of token hunger strike.
