Tapan Ghosh, the Founder of ‘Hindu Sanhati’ booked in case of staging agitations, has been acquitted after 10 years !
New Delhi – Bajarang Dal’s then Coordinator for North India and present Founder and staunch pro-Hindu, Shri. Tapan Ghosh was arrested in connection with a minor case of staging agitations. He has now been acquitted from this case. Shri. Ghosh had to keep going to Delhi from Kolkata on number of occasions, in connection with this case. (Now, action should be taken against the concerned police staff for filing cases against innocent citizens and harassing them; besides, Shri. Tapan Ghosh should be reimbursed for every type of harassment he had to go through ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
In March 2003, the Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu of Andhra Pradesh had prohibited VHP leader, Dr. Pravin Togadia from entering Bhagyanagar. Shri. Tapan Ghosh had staged agitation along with some activists from Bajarang Dal near Andhra Bhavan in New Delhi against this. In such situation, police generally pick up demonstrators in their vehicles and leave them somewhere. That time also, police did the same thing; but Chandrababu Naidu pressurized the Government to arrest Shri. Tapan Ghosh and 6 activists, by filing case against them. They were granted bail immediately and now after 10 years, they have been acquitted.
