Intense demonstration by pro-Hindu organizations in Mumbai !
|
Mumbai : Anti-superstitions Bill has been pending for the past 18 years due to its objectionable clauses related to religious sentiments. Passing this Bill by suddenly issuing an Ordinance, the Maharashtra Government has insulted religious people of the State. It is a lie that amendments have been made to this Act. The Government has sought opinions of only atheists instead of taking Warakaris, religious organizations and Dharma-Gurus in confidence. The Government should pay respect to feelings of majority of the people and cancel this Ordinance immediately, was the demand made by ‘Rashtreeya Hindu Andolan’ on 3rd December. Movement against anti-superstitions Act was thus started on 3rd December and speakers warned that the elected representatives should not go against people’s wish and support the said Act.

Dharma will protect us if we protect Dharma ! – Pujya Dharanidharacharyaji Maharaj, Balaji Mandir, Ghatkopar

The Government will have to quit if anti-superstitions Act is thrust upon Hindus ! – Dr. Uady Dhuri, spokesperson, HJS, Mumbai
Anti-Hindu Congress Government has hatched conspiracy of passing anti-superstitions Act under influence of few atheists for elimination of Hindu Dharma. We should strongly fight with unity as it is our duty. If the Government passes this Act disregarding Hindus’ opposition just before forthcoming elections, it would be inviting trouble and the Government will have to quit.
Ayurveda treatment will also come under superstitions ! – Swami Ghanashayamanand, Abhiyan Bharat Jagruti
Many ailments like jaundice need Ayurvedic and divine remedies; but as per anti-superstitions Act, taking Ayurvedic treatment will be superstition. Hindu Saints and Seers are already done injustice. Owing to Congress Government, H.H. Asaram Bapu is in jail under false accusations made against him. H.H. Bapu has opposed western culture and costly medicines. He created awareness amongst people towards Ayurvedic treatment and propagated Hindu Dharma. Such Saints are unnecessarily harassed in Congress regime.
