Deceiving assurance of Cong Minister Satej Patil regarding ‘Anti-black magic ordinance’

(Saying) ‘Not passing the ordinance unless being discussed !’

Kolhapur (Maharashtra) : There will not be any binding on the Warkari sampraday, on the Kirtan – pravachankars (Discourses) due to the ordinance opposing Black magic. Since representation submitted by Warkaris having reached all the MLAs, ordinance will not be passed unless discussion is held, informed the Congress State Home Minister Satej Patil to the Warkari delegation. (If it was so desired to have discussion then why was it was not held taking into confidence Saints, Mahant (Religious leaders), Dharmacharyas right from the beginning before the final draft of the ordinance was prepared ? This kind of statements were made by many various ministers and Chief minister himself, yet the ordinance was passed. ‘Giving assurance now’ is like cheating Warkaris ! Therefore, devout Hindus should continue their agitation in opposition to the Bill ! – Editor SP)

1. Home Minister Satej Patil said further, “There are misconceptions in the mind of Warkaris regarding the ordinance. (If there were misconceptions then the Warkaris need not have agitated ! – Editor SP) Ordinance cannot be reverted now. Let us have your doubts. We will discuss them in the Session. Nobody will be penalised by filing cases wrongly. The decision will be given by the police offer having sub—– rank.”
2. Satej Patil said, “Traditionally we also belong to the Warkari sampraday. We too will not like cases filed against Warkaris.” (If this is so, then why the Government is planning to pass the ordinance despite the opposition expressed through various rallies, agitations by thousands of Warkaris several times ? – Editor SP)
3. At this time due to singing ‘Bharud’ (Type of historical account) at Vani-Khurda in Nashik, Warkaris were arrested; if this ordinance is passed then no one will know what might happen. That is why, the Warkaris have taken this stand vehemently. Satej Patil denied this charge and when he was shown the news published in Dainik ‘Sanatan Prabhat’, he had no answer. (Common people are now realising the double standard of the politicians, saying on one hand, ‘Will not like cases filed against Warkaris’, and on the other hand, not taking any action when cases are filed against Warkaris ! – Editor SP)
4. Finally Patil said, “Give me all your doubts and objections, I will hold discussion on them.” (Until now, not only Warkaris but hundreds of organisations have opposed the Bill submitting memorandums. How many more are still required for the Government to take cognisance of the issue ? Editor SP)
