Gorakhpur (UP): Armed assailants killed a religious guru with a sharp-edged weapon and injured his brother at Hobart embankment of river Rapti here on 26 march, police said.
The deceased, identified as Sadhu Sharan, was killed brutally with his head chopped off in the attack. His brother Anand was struggling for life at BRD medical college here.
One person has been arrested in connection with the murder.
