Margashirsha Shuklapaksha 12, Kaliyug Varsha 5115

Vicious majority helps Congress Government to push anti-superstitions Bill !

  • Hindus should get ready to oust Congress in the forthcoming elections at least now; considering the true nature of Congress Government, which is trying to eliminate Hindu Dharma !

  • Why the powerful pro-Hindu organizations do not say anything about anti-superstitions Act ? Do they feel that the effect of this Act would not lead to attacks on Hindu Dharma ?

How can Congress rulers feel no shame to present anti-superstitions Act in Assembly session despite so many shortcomings ? Suspend all those responsible for preparing such flawed Bill; else they would continue to work with same stupidity and get paid for it out of tax paid by citizens ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat

Nagpur, 13th December –  On 13th December, Congress Government finally passed the anti-Hindu, anti-superstitions Bill  on the basis of vicious majority, throttling opposition parties; however, few amendments were carried out in the said Bill. Many MLAs from opposition parties were not given a chance to say anything; also, Minister for Social Justice did not give satisfactory replies to their queries and the Bill was pushed ahead. MLAs from Shiv Sena and BJP, therefore, created ruckus in the House which led to adjourning the House for half an hour. After 2 days of discussions, the Bill was finally passed on 13th   December. The proposal put up by Opposition parties to refer the Bill to Joint Review Committee, was dismissed with majority and amendments suggested by ruling party were carried out.

Commotion due to Opposition party MLAs not allowed to speak !

Shri. Nana Patole, BJP’s MLA spoke against the Bill in the afternoon session and later, many MLAs from Opposition parties wanted to speak; but the Minister for Social Justice did not allow them and he got up requesting the Vice Chairman of Legislative Assembly to pass the Bill creating commotion. MLAs from Opposition parties, viz. Shri. Vijayraj Shinde, Mangalprabhat Lodha, Vinod Ghosalkar, Vijay Shivtare, Sambhajirao Pawar, Girish Bapat, Nana Patole, Shishir Shinde, Dadarao Kenche, Suresh Haldankar, Pramod Jathar, Ashish Jaiswal, Rupesh Mhatre etc. rushed to the empty space in front of the Chairman. Government will have to pay the price for
getting Bill passed amidst commotion ! – Shri. Girish Bapat, MLA, BJP

Shri. Girish Bapat, BJP-MLA said after the members calmed down, “We had shown our readiness to pass the Bill unanimously; but the ruling parties did not allow opposition parties to say anything and passed the Bill on the strength of majority amidst chaos. The Government has thus broken its promise and will have to pay heavy price for such act. You are swollen with pride due to being in power. It will not send right message to people.” (Congratulations to Shiv Sena, BJP MLAs taking Congress rulers to task ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) The following changes have been carried out in clause 12.

Why changes had to be made in the Bill
claimed to be perfect by the Government ? – Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS)

Changes to be studied before deciding future stance! – HJS

Changes in Act to be studied before deciding the future course of action!

Minister for Social Justice was announcing on all TV channels that the Act was flawless and no changes would be carried out in the Bill and in Legislative Assembly, he only declared about modifications. Announcing changes in so-called perfect Bill, is also a miracle. HJS has been creating awareness about many anti-Hindu Dharma clauses in the Act for past 9 years and will continue to do so even in future.  Andha-shraddha Nirmulan Samiti (ANiS) and the Government have been falsely propagating that the Act was not against Dharma; but it has been exposed as there are shortcomings in this Act and it should be remembered that truth has ultimately won. Future course of action will be decided after srudying the amended Act. – Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, spokesperson, HJS, Maharashtra State

Prof. Manav frustrated as ANiS’ ploy to harass devoted Hindus through medium of third party is foiled!

Withdrawing rights of third party to lodge complaint has affected the main crux of the Act !

‘The clause in anti-superstitions Act about providing religious protection is actually not a clause but it is an instruction for creating awareness amongst peole. I had written an article on the subject in ‘Lok-rajya’ magazine of the Government and it has been adopted accordingly.  (It proves that the Government is slave of and dancing to the tune of ANiS ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) It is going to be difficult to protect life of affected party due to superstitions because of withdrawal of right of third party for lodging a complaint; as in such cases, people from the family are mainly involved in incidents of superstitions; therefore, nobody comes forward to lodge a complaint. The change has, therefore, affected the crux of the Act’, stated Prof. Shyam Manav, the national Convener of All-India ANiS.

Amendments carried out by the Government for providing protection to religious acts

  • Provision of officer from B category as ‘Dakshata officer’ has been removed.
  • As per the amendment, only family member of aggrieved person can lodge a complaint instead of any third person.
