Tolerance is taught only in Hindu Temples !

Mumbai: In the ongoing budget session of the Maharashtra State Legislative Assembly there is a high probability that the blind faith eradication bill pending for the past three years may be passed. Along with this the government is also making an attempt to plunder Hindu temple treasuries through the temple take over act. With this background, on behalf of the HJS, from 14thto 16th March a chain fast was undertaken at the Azad Maidan in Mumbai. The guidance given by the national spokesperson of the HJS, Dr. Durgesh Samant at the inaugural function of the fast is published here.

Anti-Hindu laws are the play of communists and socialists with Hinduism!

Today the HJS has organised this chain fast. After hearing all these speakers you must have understood the purpose of this agitation. Fighting this religious crisis is service unto Hinduism. Several  years ago when there were attacks on Hinduism several such Hindu protagonists would combat them according to their potential. In the post-independence era governments with Communist and Socialist ideas began to rule. It is  these people who are playing with the Hindu religion as per their whims and fancies. We Hindus on the other hand neither study our religion in the appropriate manner nor oppose the wrong. These two laws are being opposed without any selfish, ulterior motive. They are being opposed only for the welfare of the human race, to guide mankind in an optimistic direction.

Government take over of temples will result in deterioration of religion!

Today the fear of global warming is tremendous and will lead to calamities. The only cause of this crisis is the damage done by man to Nature and it is the thinking pattern of man that is responsible for this. Today the world is full of intolerance. They think `one who does not have faith in our God is our enemy and he does not have the right to live.’ This intolerance is propagated till it becomes an opinion. If we want tolerance to continue in our society then Hinduism must survive because this is the only religion, which does not consider any other religion its enemy. How can we expect this tolerance to survive when the very temples, which preach tolerance, are taken over by a secular government, which has absolutely no religious sentiment? All the government will do is empty their treasuries. So in the end this law will cause deterioration in religion and will affect not only Hindus but also the foundation on which this ideal of tolerance lies. Today Hindus are tolerant only because their temples teach them tolerance.  Once taken over by the government the entire human race will lose and later even if the future generations feel the need to rectify this then it will not be possible.

These anti-Hindu laws are like the last blows onto an injured body of a Hindu!

Dictatorship , socialism and communism are all materialistic thinking patterns which have destroyed Nature completely. In comparison with these the Sanatan Hindu religion is spiritual teaching. It teaches how to survive on this earth and how to nurture Nature and today this very religion is being attacked. Though after considering the history of this country these attacks are comparatively minor yet we need to remember that it is these small attacks, which have maimed us. And now only one or two such attacks will be sufficient to destroy Hinduism completely. `The Blind-faith eradication bill’ and the `temples take over bill’ are two such laws which can cause this.

Opposition to anti-Hindu laws for the sake of all mankind!

Till date on no part of the earth has a law pertaining to faith been framed. And here in this attempt is being made. The government is making an attempt to decide what kind of faith is appropriate and what is not, which kind of faith should be encouraged and which should not be. What is important here is that we are opposing this, not how many of us are doing it . If we all do our tasks with total faith in God then success lies in His hands. Since we are doing this for the sake of all mankind let us all pray to Him that He may grant us success. Offering obeisance to the deity of the place, the village deity, H.H. Bodhale Maharaj on the dais and our Guru I now conclude.
