Evict slaughter-house from Morba ! – H.B.P. Bandatatya Karadkar Maharaj

Press conference by Warakari Sampradaya at Panvel

Panvel (Maharashtra) : Slaughter-house built at Morba (Dist. Raigad) will result in killing of thousands of animals every year and export of meat to other countries. It will have adverse effect on the environment and health of people from this area. It is claimed by many slaughter-houses that cows/ cattle would not be slaughtered there; but everyone knows the truth behind such claims. The ‘Maha-morcha (mammoth rally)’ to be taken out on 20th January at Alibaug to oppose anti-Hindu Dharma/ anti-environment/ anti-health slaughter-house is supported by Warakari Sampradaya. This slaughter-house built in the Capital of Chhatrapati Shivaraya should be permanently evicted; else apt reply will be given in a language understood by the Government’, warned H.B.P. Bandataya Karadkar on behalf of all Warakari Sampradaya to Maharashtra Government. He was speaking in a press conference held at Panvel by Warakari Sampradaya on 16th January. H.B.P. Bapu Maharaj Raokar, President of ‘Rashtreeya Warakari Sena’ for Konkan Region, H.B.P. Bhagavan Maharaj Kokare, the District-President of Sree Warakari Prabodhan Mahasamiti, Ratnagiri, H.B.P. Ramdas Maharaj Chaudhary, Secretary of ‘Saint Gadage baba Gram-safai ani Vyasanmukti Prasarak Mandal’, Shri. Shivaji Vatkar, District Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for Mumbai, Thane and Raigad districts, Shri. Ashok Jain of ‘Ahimsa Sangh’, Panvel, H.B.P. Bhopatrao Maharaj of VHP and Jyuharmal Jain, Trustee of Jain Temple shared the dais with H.B.P. Karadkar Maharaj.

Unanimous demand of removing the slaughter-house was made on the occasion by one and all. H.B.P. Bandatatya Karadkar Maharaj said, “It has been 18 years since Act prohibiting cow-slaughter has been passed. Till the Government does not implement it, they will not be allowed to perform ‘puja’ at Sri Vitthal Mandir at Sri-Kshetra Pandharpur. (Congress Government is responsible for cow-slaughters by not implementing this Act ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Warakari Sampradaya will take part in this march from all over Maharashtra. The Government should remember that more indifference by the Government will intensify Warakari agitation.”

H.B.P. Kokare Maharaj said, “Warakaris do not want a slaughter-house in the Capital of Chhatrapati Shivaraya. The Government should demolish it on its own; else, Warakari Sampradaya will take to road and demolish the slaughter-house as was done in case of ‘Dow Company’.”

H.B.P. Bapu Maharaj Raokar said, “The protest march to be taken out at Alibaug will be unique.”

Shri. Shivaji Vatkar of HJS said, “This slaughter-house is like a demon and will eat animals, farmers and Hindu Dharma; therefore, this fight will go on till the demon is not destroyed.”
