Rulers extend all facilities besides grant of millions of rupees for
Haj pilgrimage; but do not provide any facility for pilgrimages of Hindus and their Fairs !

Prayag (Uttar Pradesh : It has been continuously raining for 3 days on 16th, 17th and 18th January 2014 in the area where ‘Magh-Mela’, a fair has been held on the occasion of ‘Makar-sankranti’ from 14th January. There is total mismanagement and rain water entered tents occupied by Saints, Mahants and ‘Kalpavasi’. Many tents got destroyed due to rain; but the Government did not take any action promptly; therefore, Swami Shri. Avimukteshwaranand Maharaj of Jyotish-Peetha, Swami Atmanand Brahmachari, Shri. Shankaracharya Bhagavan Kangda and Swami Sharadanand Saraswati Maharaj staged agitation in Triveni Marg – Ramanand Marg Chowk. Swami Atmanand Saraswati Maharaj from Badrinath has warned to go on hunger strike if remedial measures were not undertaken immediately.
