Chennai : A unique android application known as ‘Sanatan Tamil Calendar 2014’ was dedicated to the tamil speaking people all over the world by Kanchi Shankaracharya Shri Jayendra Saraswati Mahaswamigal. The release function took place at Sankara Vidyalaya, Tambaram in Chennai. More than 2000 students were present at the function.

The application is one of its kind app in tamil since it gives comprehensive information on Tithi, Nakshatra, Hindu Festivals, Shubha Muhurtham, Information on Hindu Deities, Hindu Temples.
